PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)
The Program Educational Objectives (PEO) of the Department are compiled based on the department’s vision and mission. The PEO are aimed that three to five years after graduating with this degree, a Geodetic Engineering graduate will:
(a). Be able to apply fundamental mathematical, scientific, and engineering principles in formulating and solving engineering problems, as well as to excell  in a career utilizing their education in Geodetic Engineering areas of practice.
(b). Be able to develop and expand their knowledge of geodetic engineering fields, as well as other relevant fields through further professional licensure or graduate studies in engineering or science.
(c). Be able to work effectively in multidisciplinary and diverse professional environments as well as to provide leadership and demonstrate professional integrity.
STUDENT OUTCOMES (SO)
The student outcome (SO) of Geodetic Engineering Study Program are as follow:
a). An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering.
b). An ability to design and conduct practices, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
c). An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability.
d). An ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams.
e). An ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.
f). An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility according to the values of Pancasila.
g). An ability to communicate effectively.
h). The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context.
i). A recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning – specifically: graduates will be successful in finding professional employment, attaining professional licensure, and/or pursuing further academic studies.
j). A knowledge of contemporary issues.
k). An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice – specifically: Graduates will have an advanced understanding of the following areas of Geodetic and Geomatic Engineering at least at one of the following field of specializations: engineering and cadastral survey; boundary delimitation; land management; applied geoinformatics.
